  • What is Sugar Gold?
    Sugar Gold provides premium features, including Unlimited Chats Limit, Send 2 invites at the same time, Boost Exposure, Fancy Look,10 Super Invites per day, Accept Past Invitations enabled, and Remove All Advertisement.   • How are my interactions with other members processed by Sugar?
    Keeping you safe is and will always be a top priority. We use automated tools to scan interactions like messages, solely for indications of harmful or illegal behavior. Our trained agents may review interactions that are flagged by our automated tools or in response to a user report. We may also use these examples to train our technology to improve our ability to find and remove similar content.
  • How to use Sugar?
    Login with Google or Apple account or your Facebook or phone number. Enter something that you want to say, invite or be invited. Once the invitation is accepted, an anonymous chat room will be created. After the conversation started, you may leave anytime as you wish. You won't receive any message from that conversation and you cannot back to the conversation.
  • What is the minimum age requirement to use Sugar?
    You must be at least 18 years old to use Sugar.
  • Can I chat with users in other region?
    Sugar separates users based on the region of your Internet Service Provider, i.e. You will only see Canadian users if you are using Sugar in Canada. As for making friends from overseas, we do not have the release schedule yet.
  • How to use Super Invite?
    Swipe right on the target candidate, you will see the Super Invite button.
  • What are my login options?
    After downloading Sugar for iOS or Android, you can create your account via your Facebook/ Google/ Apple account. Be sure to log in using the same method each time, or you will create multiple accounts.
  • Refund request
    In general, subscription cannot be refunded. If you have any special reason to request a refund, please follow the instructions below: Refund of Subscription on iOS is handled by Apple, please click here to view the details of Cancelling Subscription and How to request a refund. Android user may contact us at support@sugarnetwork.co and provide registration details.
  • How do I ignore someone?
    Do not want to be repeatedly invited by users? Seeing something that annoys you? You can ignore users who invited you, and users you haven’t chatted with. To report someone, pull left and tap "Report".
  • How do I report someone?
    You can report users that you’re chatting with, users who invited you, and users you haven’t chatted with. To report someone who invited you or you haven’t chatted with, pull left and tap "Report". To report someone who are chatting with you, tap the "Report" at the right corner in the chat. The safety of our users is very important to us. We encourage you to report and ignore any suspicious users or behavior.
  • Can I find previous chats?
    No, you cannot review the messages or reply once you left the chat. Treasure everyone you meet, think twice before you actually leave the chat.
  • Is Sugar free?
    Yes, Sugar is completely free to join. Our core feature like match, invite and chat are free to use! You could also subscribe to unlock premium features, such as unlock chat limit and look back missed invitation.
  • Reached limit of number of chat rooms
    When you reach the limit of maximum chat rooms, you may want to quit some of the chat rooms to receive/send invitations. In addition, you may enjoy more chat rooms by subscribing Sugar Gold.
  • How do I know how many Super Invite left?
    You can check it on "Profile" page.
  • What is Sugar?
    Sugar is an anonymous social app. Everyone is completely anonymous, just use a quote to represent yourself. Less burden, be true, more friends. You will see others' quote, you may invite them or be invited. Once invitation is accepted, you got an anonymous chat. You may also choose to disclose more about yourself, such as hobbies and region, to let others know more about you.
  • What is Super Invite?
    Swipe right on your target and use Super Invite to boost up 4X matching rate!. It makes you stand out with a different look (purple countdown), and Super Invites will be shown in order of priority and can be accepted at any time. They aren't bound by chat limits, as they can be accepted within 7 days even if the counterpart's chatroom limit is reached. Enabling users to send normal invitations while sending Super Invite. Keep in mind that the account that reached chat limits will no longer able to send any invitations, including Super Invite. All users are able to use Super Invite once per day. Sugar Gold users are able to use 10 times per day.
  • Will other's device shows "User left" if I deleted Sugar?"
    No. Other side's device shows "User left" only if you actively leave the chat room.
  • How should I response to intrusive expression from other Sugar users?
    You may report it to us. We will follow up once we have received the report. You may report the user by swiping left on the quote of the user, tap "Report" and fill in relevant information. Or you may report the user by tapping "Report" on the header of Chat room and fill in relevant information.
  • Someone pretend to be me and disseminate my personal data on Sugar
    Sugar bears no tolerance on privacy breaching behavior on our application. If the issue is founded true, we will remove the candidate from the list or even stop the corresponding user from using Sugar. As for the relevant records, we will only provide it to law enforcing body on request.   • I encountered some problem when using Sugar
    In general, you may find the answer in this FAQs. If this Help Center cannot help you to solve the problem, please contact us at support@sugarnetwork.co. Please provide your device series, details of the issues, steps of reproducing the issue, and screenshots if possible. We will assist you shortly.
  • I can't log in to my account
    Before you start troubleshooting, please first check if there are any updates for Sugar available on your App Store / Google Play Store.
  • I can't receive invitation
    Each invitation last for 15 seconds, you may want to accept the invitation before it expired.Sugar needs accurate device time to provide the best experience. Please go to device's "Date & Time" Settings and enable "Automatic date & time" and "Automatic time zone". iOS user may go to General Setting of your device, and enable "Set Automatically" in "Date & Time". Android user may go to Setting page of your device, and enable "Automatic Date & Time" and "Automatic Time Zone".
  • I can't receive push notification
    Please go to settings, switch off "Show Notifications" and then terminate Sugar. After that restart the app and switch on "Show Notifications" again. If the issue persist, please send us email at support@sugarnetwork.co with the following details: your device brand and series. your process of reproducing the problem. screenshots of the issue, we will follow up accordingly.
  • Buy Credit on Google Play Store
    Regarding charging up your Google Play store, Sugar could only provide Google information for your reference, we highly recommend you to check google instruction before buying. You may click here, login to your Google Account, following the instructions and submit the form to seek Google advice. Concerning the amount, Google Play Store physical storage card has a fixed amount, you may have to buy a card with a bigger face value to match with Hey Plus pricing. Google Play store will credit the corresponding amount from your Google account after you purchase Sugar Gold. If you haven't used it all, you can use the remaining balance next time or for other apps. You may follow the procedure below to recharge your Google Play card: Buy Google Play card in convenient store or supermarkets. 1 - Recharge card following Google Play instructions 2 - Success charging your card 3 - Subscribe to Sugar Gold
  • What to do if I want to change from a subscription plan (e.g. Sugar Gold 1 month to 6 month)?
    At the moment you may only subscribe the new plan you love after the original plan period to finish.
  • How to check the expiry date of my Premium Subscription?
    Click Profile to enter Details. You can check the expiry date of your Premium Subscription here.
  • What happen to the extra chatrooms if I cancelled subscriptions?
    The extra chatrooms will still be effective until either party leave the chatroom.
  • How do I cancel my subscription?
    Deleting the Sugar app from your phone won’t cancel your subscription — you’ll have to follow the steps below to successfully unsubscribe. Once you cancel your subscription, you'll be able to use Sugar Gold for the remaining days you paid for. Canceling a subscription doesn't retroactively refund subscription payments, and as for previously paid subscription fees, no pro-rata refund will be entertained. How to cancel on iOS: Open your iPhone Settings Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions Select the subscription you want to cancel Tap Cancel Subscription. How to cancel on Android: Open the Google Play Store on your Android device Tap the Menu icon and go to Subscriptions Select the subscription you want to cancel Tap Cancel subscription.

  • Unable to use relevant service after purchasing subscription
    Please tap "Restore Subscription" on the setting page to restore the subscribed item. If the issue persists, please send us an email at info@sugarnetwork.co with the following details and we will follow up accordingly: your device brand and series; your process of reproducing the problem screenshots of the Google or Apple transaction confirmation email and; your registration details (i.e. Mobile number / Facebook Email / Gmail / Apple ID)
  • What to do if I couldn't subscribe successfully on iOS?
    Please try the following steps: 1 - Check your Appstore location and check if the payment setting is correctly filled 2 - Check if "Prevent In-App Purchase from App store" is ON, if yes, please turn it OFF (means enable In-App Purchase), for details please refer to Apple 3 - Re-login to AppStore, terminate Sugar, and relaunch it (swipe up and re-launch) 4 - Try to subscribe again
  • How can I manage my notifications?
    Tap the Profile icon> go to Settings > Notifications. You can manage your preference of notifications here.
  • How do I update my profile?
    Tap the Profile icon. You can choose set your information there, such as location, gender and shown yourself on Sugar.
  • Can I deactivate my account?
    Tap the Profile icon> go to Settings (in the upper right corner), you can choose to deactivate your account here.
  • Can I ask the counterpart to switch to phone call or third party social media app?
    All successful conversations end up with switching to third-party platforms, Sugar is no exception. However, for conversations that were initiated with the only purpose to luring users off Sugar, others would spot the difference and report your account on broadcasting contacts or spamming.
  • Safety tips
    Keep your personal information confidential and never disclose your financial information. Report suspicious people or conversations.
